Symbols, footprints and component data
Library services can address individual components or a larger collection of parts. Share the manufacturer part numbers, datasheets, package information, and your existing library conventions. The scope can include schematic symbols, PCB footprints, associated 3D models, and the component records that connect them. Naming, required fields, and preferred organization should reflect the way your design process uses that information.
Custom database libraries
A database library brings component records and design models into a structure that supports selection and reuse. ECAD Central offers custom component database libraries and setup and configuration support for Altium 365 and Cadence CIP. The starting point is your current environment: where the records live, what information each part needs, and how designers access the library.
Cleanup, migration and ongoing maintenance
Existing libraries may need cleanup, reorganization, migration, or ongoing administration. Moving from one ECAD platform to another can involve symbols, footprints, models, database records, schematics, and PCB files. Identify the source and destination tools and the content you need to transfer so conversion and migration can be scoped appropriately.
Connect libraries with component lifecycle work
Component records and bills of materials need attention as products evolve. Related services include lifecycle and obsolescence reviews, component data maintenance, and library updates.
