Board design around your constraints
A useful starting point is the schematic together with the board outline, connector locations, mounting details, and electrical requirements. These inputs define the space available for placement and routing, as well as the constraints that need to carry through to the finished board. A new board and a revision to an existing design can require different scopes of work.
High-speed, high-power and multilayer layouts
Services include complex multilayer boards, high-speed digital layouts, and high-power designs. Share the interfaces, routing constraints, power requirements, and mechanical restrictions that matter to your project. The layout scope can then be defined around those requirements, from component placement through the documentation needed for fabrication and assembly.
Work in your ECAD environment
PCB design tools include Altium Designer, Cadence OrCAD, Cadence Allegro, and KiCad. Identify the tool and version used by your project when requesting a quote. If the starting files come from a different platform, design file conversion and migration can be discussed as part of the work. Libraries and component records can also be addressed through the related library services.
Experience behind the layout
Mario Strano has more than 17 years of PCB design experience and 12 years of component engineering experience. He is an IPC CID+ certified PCB designer, with experience in complex multilayer boards, automotive electronics, and the libraries and databases that support hardware development.
